PURPOSE: To facilitate the transfer of an indicator from an injector by providing a vessel having an air port and an opening formed thereon, a plunger insertable into the opening so as to hold a sterilization indicator within the vessel, and an envelop re-sealable so as to seal and hold the vessel in the inner part. CONSTITUTION: An integrator 28 is arranged within a vessel 14, a plunger 18 is inserted into the opening 20 of the vessel 14 to ensure the integrator 28 within the vessel 14, and a heat insulating element 16 is put on the vessel 14 for heat insulation. This easily openable injector 10 is arranged within a peeling type envelop 12, and the whole body of this combination is exposed to an ethylene oxide sterilizing cycle. Ethylene oxide(EO) gas is advanced into the vessel 14 through an air port 22, brought into contact with a core 46 within the integrator 28, and reacted with a chemical contained therein to discolor the core 46 with the lapse of time, and the colored front edge is moved in an arrowed direction 48. After the sterilizing cycle is completed, the envelope 12 and the injector 10 are transferred from a sterilizing device, and both sheets 36, 40 are held by an operator to take out the injector 10. |
