<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of an overrun error and to improve an execution printing speed by a method wherein a timing for starting a developing means by a development start part is calculated from the magnitude of a second memory area and the position of an image in a page image. CONSTITUTION:Because a VBB part 9 has a ring buffer structure, an image area in an area of the VBB part 9 is successively shifted for every raster of an image outputted to a printing mechanism control part 11, and a timing for developing characters NEXT in the area of the VBB part 9 has not been set until the area of the VBB part 9 is positioned in the lower part of one page image. When the output of a position obtained by subtracting a develop ment width from a VBB width is started, the characters NEXT can be devel oped. Therefore, where a time difference between a presently outputting raster and a raster to be developed next is t1 and a value obtained by reducing a raster width W, i.e. the difference between a development width and a VBB width, to a time is t2, T = t1 -t2 is held. By setting the development start time T, a developing processing is completed and returned to a former processing.</p> |
