The guide socket (5b) and the measurement wire (5c) can be introduced through a channel into the knee joint inner space and by means of an anchoring unit (5a) the guide socket can fixed to the femur (1) or tibia (2) and the measurement wire supports with its distal end on the tibia or femur. The mobility (6) between the tibia and the femur is assessable on the basis of the longitudinal displacement of the measurement wire relatively to the guide socket. At the proximal end of the guide socket and measurement wire outside the knee joint inner space a measurement instrument is arranged, which indicates the extent of mobility.
