PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely record and reproduce management information by recording and/or reproducing information on a recording medium in the state of rotating a disk on a rotating means, and recording and/or reproducing information in a storage means in the state of placing the disk in a loading means. SOLUTION: A disk medium recording and reproducing means 13 independently records or reproduces information with respect to a recording medium 2. When reproducing main information, for example, a recording and reproducing processing means 18 performs processing such as extension, depression of an error-correcting code(ECC) or demodulation to regenerative information sent from the disk medium recording and reproducing means 13 and sends it to a main information input/output means 21. Otherwise, in order to transmit information from a management information input/output means 20 to a storage means 3, for example, processing such as compression, addition of ECC or modulation is performed to the management information or catalog information and after processing such as amplification is performed, a transmission signal is transmitted to the storage means 3 by a communication means 22. |
