PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily and exactly retrieve a Kanji desired by a user without troubling the user when retrieving the Kanji, for which the Kana of reading is not known, with an information processor. SOLUTION: Concerning this Kanji retrieving method, in each Kanji image column of a Kanji information file, a Kanji 'X' having a partial character 'A' as the right-side radical and a partial character 'B' as the left-side radical and a Kanji 'Y' arranging the partial character 'B' at the upper part and the partial character 'A' at the low part are registered. Concerning the Kanji 'X', '000α' is registered in the code column thereof, 'm' is registered in a stroke column, '○○' is registered in the reading Kana column thereof, the right-side radical composed of the partial character 'A' is registered in the radical column thereof, '0a' is registered in a partial id1 column and '0b' is registered in a partial id2 column. Concerning the Kanji 'Y', '000β' is registered in the code column thereof, 'm-1' is registered in the stroke column, '▵▵' is registered in the reading Kana column thereof, the right-side radical composed of the partial character 'B' is registered in the radical column thereof, '0c' is registered in the partial id1 column and '0b' is registered in the partial id2 column. The partial id1 and id2 are read out of a partial id master setting optimum position information and possible position information for each partial character. By referring to the Kanji information file while using partial id1 and id2 or the like, the correspondent Kanji is extracted. |
