DEAERATOR LEVEL CONTROL APPARATUS

This device for a deaerator is a feedwater conditioning device which provides direct contact feedwater heating as well as removing cetcuss oxygen in order to inhibit corrosion in a power plant. Under some conditions, called transients, rapid depressurisation could occur in the deaerator which might result in demage to internal deaerator parts. A control system which will react to a reduction in turbine load by reducing the flow of condensation to the deaerator is discribed in the application.
