PURPOSE: A device for manufacturing a tread belt of a tire is provided to improve the productivity and to reduce the production cost by automatically performing the supply, arrangement and attachment of a steel wire. CONSTITUTION: A tread belt manufacture device comprises a creel(10) whereon a steel wire(W) is wound, two feed rollers(20) rotating by a motor(21) and feeding the steel wire at a uniform speed; a laser cutter(30) cutting the steel wire by a specific length, an air supply pipe(40) individually inputting the steel wire pieces to recessed grooves formed on the outer face of a drum(50), the drum rotating slowly by a stepping motor(60) and a motor unit(70), clamps(80) installed outside the recessed grooves of the drum to insert the steel wires into the recessed grooves, a tire(T) attached with the steel wires while rotating by a motor(90), and a press roller firmly attaching the wire steels on the surface of the tire by pressurizing the steel wires. Therefore, a tread belt of high quality is manufactured efficiently.
