The flow of air from the inside to the outside (B) is prevented with the aid of a sensor which monitors the air pressure differential between the inside and outside. The sensor closes the ventilation channel (3) if the air pressure inside is greater than the air pressure outside and opens the channel if the reverse is the case. The air vent (1) comprises a casing (2) containing a ventilation channel connecting the inside and outside. The channel is provided with a closure device (5). An Independent claim is also included for a sensor casing containing the above sensor.
