PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polyester fibers that can be thinned with alkali at a temperature of <=60 deg.C, can be dyed with cationic dyes at a temperature of <=85 deg.C and are excellent in various kinds of fastness, mechanical characteristics and spinning properties and provide dyed products of polyester fiber-mixed fabrics that contains these polyester fibers and cellulosic fibers and are excellent in low-temperature alkali-thinning properties, low-temperature dyeability, brightness and fastness. SOLUTION: This polyester fibers are made of a polyethylene terephthalate copolymer containing a polyethylene glycol with an average molecular weight of 500-4,000, adipic acid, a salt of sulfo-isophthalic salt where individual comonomers satisfy the copolymerization proportions shown in the formulas: 1<=X<=3, 2.5<=Z/X<=3.5 and Y=Z (X is the molar % of the sulfoisophthalic acid in the whole carboxylic acid components; Y is the wt.% of adipic acid based on the weight of the whole polymer and Z is the wt.% of the polyethylene glycol based on the weight of the whole polymer) and the peak temperature of the tangential loss is 80-95 deg.C. |
