A packaging box is provided to load and release articles easily by covering the entire lateral side of a body with a side cover and to prevent the side covers from being excessively overlapped on each other by forming folding lines of each side cover at different positions. A packaging box(10) having plural covers extended to both sides of a body(11) made of papers and shutting up both sides of the body by overlapping the covers is composed of the body formed like a regular parallelepiped having opened lateral sides; left and right covers and upper and lower covers extended on one surface of the body in the same shape and same size and folded across each other to contact the extended end portions to each other at the inner center of the body; and side covers(23) put on an auxiliary cover(24) extended from the left and right sides of the other surface of the body and bent inward, and provided with an insertion portion formed at the extended end portion to cover and fix the entire lateral side.
