PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator and a vapor compression type refrigerating cycle, which suppress temperature fluctuation of air passing through an evaporator, while considering COP of a refrigerating cycle. SOLUTION: The accumulator is disposed at an outlet side of the evaporator 140 of the vapor compression type refrigerating cycle 100 for separating a refrigerant flowing out from the evaporator 140 into a vapor-phase refrigerant and a liquid-phase refrigerant, and allows the vapor-phase refrigerant to flow out to a compressor 110 side. A suction pipe 152 is disposed for sucking the vapor-phase refrigerant and allowing the same to flow out to a compressor 110 side, the suction pipe 152 is provided with an oil return hole 152f for sucking a lubricant stored with the liquid-phase refrigerant into the suction pipe 152, and a hole diameter of the oil return hole 152f is determined within a range of 1.2 mm-2 mm.
