PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a wheel load highly accurately even after suspension fully rebounds or fully rebounds.SOLUTION: A wheel load estimation apparatus 1 includes: a stroke wheel load estimation part 5 for estimating a wheel load on the basis of a stroke length of a suspension disposed in a wheel; a tire inflation pressure wheel load estimation part 4 for estimating a wheel load on the basis of inflation pressure of a wheel; and a wheel load determination part 6 for determining a final wheel load by multiplying wheel loads estimated by the stroke wheel load estimation part 5 and tire inflation pressure wheel load estimation part 4 by respective weight factors. Further, in the case of the stroke length of a suspension being large, the wheel load determination part 6 increases a value of the weight factor to be used for multiplying the wheel load estimated by the tire inflation pressure wheel load estimation part 4 in comparison to the case of the stroke length being small.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
