PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute migration safely at a high speed.SOLUTION: An information processing system includes a plurality of information processing apparatuses, and a management apparatus for managing the information processing apparatuses. A first information processing apparatus of the information processing apparatuses includes a start section for starting a virtual machine, a reboot detection section which detects reboot of the virtual machine, and shut-off section which shuts off the virtual machine upon detection of reboot. A second information processing apparatus of the information processing apparatuses includes a start section which starts the shut-off virtual machine, on receipt of a start instruction to start the shut-off virtual machine after the virtual machine of the first information processing apparatus is shut off.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
