PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warm-up promoting device of an internal combustion engine capable of contribution on reduction of fuel consumption by achieving early warm-up by early increasing a temperature of a lubricant of the internal combustion engine by utilizing a chemical heat storage device in low-temperature start, and contributing on further reduction of fuel cost and reduction of a discharge amount of exhaust harmful component in accompany with shortening a warm-up time, with comparatively simple and low-cost constitution.SOLUTION: A warm-up promoting device 100 of an internal combustion engine includes a reactor 10 accommodating a heat storage material, disposed in an oil pan 1, and is constituted to absorb heat from a lubricant 2 in the oil pan 1 by a chemical reaction of the heat storage material desorbing water content during running of a vehicle after the warm-up, and to heat the lubricant 2 in the oil pan 1 by generating heat from the heat storage material by chemical reaction of absorbing the water content in low temperature start. The reactor 10 is disposed near an oil suction port 3A of an oil strainer 3, and exchanges heat with the lubricant of high flow speed toward the oil suction port 3A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
