PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which copying is accurately finished without disordering page numbers or page sequence even when automatic recovery is executed upon occurrence of a fault during operation in the sort mode or the double-side copy mode. SOLUTION: A 1st image forming means 103A forms an image on a transfer material in the order from an image of a first page to images of succeeding pages in received images, but a 2nd image forming means 103B forms an image on a transfer material in the order from an image of a final page to images of preceding pages in received images. This image forming device is provided with a changeover means E by which a direction of front/rear sides of the transfer material discharged by the 1st image forming means 103A is set opposite to a direction of front/rear sides of the transfer material discharged by the 2nd image forming means 103B. First and second support means A11, B11 support respectively the transfer materials discharged from the 1st and 2nd image forming means. |
