[Also in Division H1] In example 1 a fleece is formed by dry laying a mixture of polyester staple fibres of 40 mm length and 1.5 denier with similar fibres of 35 mm length and 3 denier. The fleece is impregnated with a butadiene-styrene latex, dried and cured to give a fabric with a pore size of 30Á. A similar fibre mixture is formed into a fleece by carding (Example 2) and the fleece is needled and then shrunk in hot water before impregnation with an acrylic binder, drying and curing to form a fabric with a pore size of 20Á. |
