<p>A ski, particularly for long distances, has a tread which is at least partly of low friction material (e.g. polythene) and has a cross-profile beneath the foot holder to assist in jumping; the tread at this profiled part has a layer of material which is plastic when hot pressed but is solid and stable in the finished ski, this layer also has the profiling on its underside. Central profiled part on the tread to minimise slipping backeards, easily produced.</p> |
