The espagnolette closing system of a cabinet opening comprises a lock bolt (p) carried by a flap and a rotary catch carried by the stationary frame. The rotary catch is carried by a moving body (113) mounted via springs (121, 122) on a stationary body (102) carried by the body (103) of the cabinet. A lever (117) is articulated by a pin (118) on the fixed body (102) and at its other end carries the rotary catch. When the cabinet is closed, the lock bolt (p) is inserted into the rotary catch by pushing back the ball (141) against the action of a spring (137) and the pusher (136) releases the catch. By turning the lock bolt (p) in the direction of the arrow (f), the lever (117) returns the moving body (113) against the fixed body (102). The seal interposed between the flap and the stationary frame is thus crushed. The closing system makes it possible to operate the flap with relatively little effort whilst ensuring good sealing and high security. <IMAGE>
