PURPOSE:To detect occurrence of ignition quickly and to begin fire extinguishing activity by installing a CO concentration sensor to a heating gas circulation circuit and a controlling device of a sprinkler, which is turned ON/OFF by the signal of said sensor, to a rotary cylindrical body and/or a stationary cylindrical body. CONSTITUTION:If a sensing concentration for abnormality of a CO densitometer in a rotary cylindrical body 3 is set at 100ppm, occurrence of fire can be sensed several seconds after occurrence of ignition. When ignition occurs in light weight rubbish and a CO desitometer 14 installed to a gas circulation line 10 senses the rise of CO concentration, a signal to open the sprinkling valve is issued. The sprinkling valve 15 having received the signal is opened and ejects water from a sprinkling nozzle 13. If the fire is extinguished by the sprinkling, the concentration of CO in the circulating gas returns to the normal value; the desitometer 14 issues a signal for closing the sprinkling valve 15. Sprinkling is thus stopped.
