In order to produce a multiplicity of various crimped joints of electrical conductor parts with a single device formed by a plier-like handtool, interchangeable crimping members (6) are provided on the jaws (5). The crimping members (6) are conveniently U-shaped and have tapered mounting spaces (8) which are pushed onto the jaws (5) in an accurately fitting manner.
