PURPOSE:To obtain a sheet having uniform physical properties easily with a small pressing down force, by performing rolling in order by belt rolling equipments at the time of rolling of thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:A raw material sheet preheated by a preheating part A is cooled at a cooling part D and unloaded after the same has been held at a fixed thickness and fixed temperature between stainless belts 5, 5' backed up by back-up rolls 12, 12' after the same has been rolled by rolls 1, 1'. The unloaded uniaxially oriented sheet is rerolled in the direction meeting at right angles with that of the first time after the same has been preheated again. According to this belt rolling method, this has such distinctive features that pressing down force necessary for rolling is low even at a rolling magnification of more than three times. As thermoplastic resin to be used, polyolefin resin and thermoplastic polyester resin are available. |
