PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can stably and speedily obtain a sample, as high in image quality as color proofer, as a continuous record process and moreover is low-cost and small. SOLUTION: This is an image forming device which forms a thin uniform layer of grains 5 using van der Waals force, and forms the formed thin layer of grains 5 into an image by giving a difference in size to the van der Waals force in an image part and nonimage part. The device has a thin layer forming means 7 for forming powder grains 5 as a uniform thin layer on a transparent drum 2; a light illuminating device 3 for forming the image part and the nonimage part by making the (van del Waals force) between the thin layer of grains 5 and the transparent drum 2 different according to image information by a picture element; a grain collecting unit 9 for removing the grains (color material) of the nonimage part and a drop of liquid; and a transferring roller 12 which transfers the grain 5 of the image part to form the image on a blank form 13. |
