The present invention relates to an improved free size cap which can be conveniently used for athletics such as golf, field sports such as mountain-climbing and fishing, and leisure. The invention comprises a main body of the cap formed with spandex mixture fabric woven by using spandex yarn for weft and a yarn having no elasticity for warp, in which said weft is disposed to the front and rear direction of the cap, and a sweat band, formed of two layers of weft knitted fabrics having napped surfaces. The weft knitted fabrics are sewn up together with a soft part of the main body of the cap such that the weft knitted fabrics can be expanded and contracted to the perimeter direction of the forehead.
