PURPOSE: A card charge system for an automatic vending machine and a card charge method using wireless/wireline network are provided to charge a purchasing fare of products sailed in the automatic vending machine with a card. CONSTITUTION: A card charge system for an automatic vending machine using wireless/wireline network(213) consists of a card containing an information about a user, an automatic vending machine, a management server, and a network. The automatic vending machine has a card reader(205) reading the information of the card, and a communication means(212) connected with a wireless/wireline network. The example of the communication means includes interactive beeper, modem, LAN(local area network), PCS(personal communication service), interactive pager, CDMA(code division multiple access), IMP-2000(International Mobile Telecommunications-2000), and GPS(global positioning system). The management server served as a payment gateway which helps the transmitting/receiving of the information via communication means, and also helps the card charge of a purchase fare. The network is connected with a management server capable of transmitting/receiving an information such as the balance of card and credit standing. |
