PURPOSE: A decorative ginseng and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enjoy the ginseng indoors by enabling the flowering and fruiting without early defoliation caused by physiological disorder. CONSTITUTION: Ginseng cultivation for cultivating in a flowerpot comprises the steps of: laying powdered limestone; filling compound soil composed of 63-77 wt.% of polishing sand, 24-30 wt.% of humus and 2-4 wt.% of charcoal; transplanting an annual young ginseng; and watering once in 5-10 days with covering sand. Sponge is inserted in a hole on the bottom of a flowerpot to absorb water from a saucer. Powdered limestone is laid around the sponge. Clay of 300-500g is put on for supporting ginseng roots to settle. On the basis of 100 wt.% of compound soil, 0.05-0.15 wt.% of borax, 0.15-0.25 wt.% of magnesium and 0.5-1.5 wt.% of a soil disinfectant are mixed to fill the compound soil. |
