PURPOSE:To improve the effect of cleaning for spurs by a method wherein a cleaning member s supported so as to engage with teeth of spur rollers by the weight thereof. CONSTITUTION:Positions of spurs 40A and 40B are determined by a spur holder 42, and a spur cleaner 41 is placed between the spurs and is held likewise with the spur holders 42. With rotary driving of a delivery roller 4, the spur 40A that is pressed against and engaged with the delivery roller rotates, and the spur 40B also rotates through the rotation of the spur cleaner 41. A rotary shaft 41A of the spur cleaner 41 is engaged with a shaft hole 42C of the spur holder 42 and rotation of the spur cleaner 41 is supported therewith. As the shaft hole 42C is a clearance hole loosely holding the rotary shaft 41A, position of the rotary shaft 41A is determined by engagement of the spurs 40A and 40B with the spur cleaner 41 that is given impetus by its weight, and impetus- giving force produced in engagement of the spur cleaner 41 with the spurs 40A and 40B is obtainable only by the weight of the spur cleaner 41. Thereby engagement of the cleaning member with teeth of the spur rollers is constantly maintained so as to satisfy removal of ink. |
