PURPOSE:To facilitate uniform mixing of a starting material with water and pouring of the resultant mixture in divided portions to a mold at good workability in a process for producing a biodegradable molding. CONSTITUTION:A biodegradable molding which can be degraded by bacteria, microorganisms, etc., in soil. It is prepared by mixing a protein homogeneously miscible with water, e.g. when protein, as a starting material or a starting material containing such a protein with water, pouring the mixture in divided portions of specified amounts into a mold, and applying heat and pressure to mixture in the mold. |
