摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electricity storing apparatus, in which a boosting charging operation can be performed and in which an output voltage is dropped with good efficiency after the charging operation, so as to be capable of being discharged for many hours. SOLUTION: When a switch 8 for charging is turned on, a charging voltage Vc which is higher than an output voltage Vd is applied to a capacitor 2 for electricity storage, and the capacitor 2 for electricity storage is boosting-charged. After that, the switch 8 for charging is turned off, and a switch 11 for voltage drop is turned on. Thereby, a capacitor 4 for voltage drop is connected in parallel with the capacitor 2 for electricity storage. In addition, when a switch 10 for power supply is turned on, electric power is supplied to a lamp 3 from both capacitors 2, 4. At this time, a capacitance C2 of the capacitor 4 for voltage drop is added to the capacitance C1 of the capacitor 2 for electricity storage, so as to obtain a total capacitance. As a result, the output voltage Vd at a time when both capacitors 2, 4 are discharged is dropped by the increased portion of the capacitance C2 of the capacitor 4 for voltage drop, and the discharge time becomes long.
