A differential clapp voltage controlled oscillator is provided to generate an oscillation signal with good phase noise characteristics as using an MOSFET(Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor) under low power supply voltage operation. A differential clapp voltage controlled oscillator includes a resonant circuit(100), a first and a second clapp oscillation circuit(210,220). The first and the second clapp oscillation circuit are connected symmetrically, around the resonant circuit. The clapp oscillation circuit comprises a variable capacitor connected in parallel with an inductor acting as a current source. |
