<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a strip line type right-hand/left-hand system composite line, and to achieve an antenna composed of the strip line type right-hand/left-hand system composite line. <P>SOLUTION: In the strip line type right-hand/left-hand system composite line, an intermediate layer conductor 4 arranged in the dielectric of an intermediate layer 1 is composed of an aggregate of unit cells, where a metal pattern is formed while the dielectric remains at the periphery, and both the surfaces of the intermediate layer 1 are surrounded by ground conductors 1, 2 for functioning in right- and left-hand system regions. A plurality of openings 5 are provided at a side 2 of the ground conductor of the line, and the area and the frequency of an input signal are changed for controlling the amount of radiation and a polarization direction easily. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
