PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light-emitting laser element that includes both a high heat dissipation property and a wide process window.SOLUTION: The present surface light-emitting laser element comprises: a reflection mirror that includes a first layer and a second layer having larger thermal conductivity than that of the first layer; a resonator structure that has a first spacer layer, active layer, and second spacer layer sequentially laminated on the second layer of the reflection mirror; and a lamination film that is laminated on the resonator structure, where the lamination film forms a mesa, and the resonator structure extends from a lower part of the mesa to the periphery of the mesa when viewed from a light emission direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
