PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RFID antenna assembly capable of lowering the performance of a long-range magnetic field, and enhancing the performance of a proximity magnetic field.SOLUTION: An RFID antenna assembly 650 is constituted of an induction loop assembly 652 of multi-segment, a first matching element 654, and a second matching element 660. The induction loop assembly 652 is formed of a plurality of separate antenna parts 664, 666, 668, 670, 672, 674, 676, and phase shift elements, i.e., capacitor assemblies 680, 682, 684, 686, 688, 690, 692. The length of the induction loop assembly 652 is held at 25% of the wavelength of a carrier signal applied to the RFID antenna assembly 650. The energy amount radiated from the antenna parts to the outside is reduced, the performance of a long-range magnetic field is lowered, and the performance of a proximity magnetic field is enhanced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 |
