The invention relates to a load bench for a truck, which is placed inside the flaps of a cargo platform. The main parts of the arrangement are an aluminium bottom beam 2 and aluminium uprights 1, which can be snapped into the openings at its ends. The major advantage of the invention is that it enables an arrangement suitable for transporting timber to be rapidly constructed inside a platform body with flaps, in the following way: a detachable upright 1 is locked to the bottom beam 2 by means of a wedge mechanism and a locking projection 3. Deadlocking is achieved by using a nut 5 to turn a cylinder 10, which is provided with a fixed eccentric fin 9 at its lower edge, which when turned presses the locking projection 3 of the upright 1 downwards and at the same time also presses the upright sideways, thus forming a strong upright and bottom beam arrangement for timber transporters. <IMAGE>
