PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the duplexing of various filing systems by providing an automatic duplex setting means for copying the filing system, which is stored in the selected auxiliary storage device of a party, to a new auxiliary storage device. SOLUTION: By disk name information for identifying 1st-3rd HDD devices 27-29 as duplex correlation information storage means, the 1st and 3rd HDD devices 27 and 29 respectively store and hold the disk name information of the party to duplex the filing systems stored on the respective HDD devices 27-29 and a state data base 30 storing a state flag for identifying whether duplexing is set or canceled. Only by designating the new auxiliary storage device from a menu picture, an operator executes the automatic duplexing setting of the filing system to be duplexed in that new auxiliary storage device by copying this filing system from the auxiliary storage device storing this filing system to the new auxiliary storage device. |
