SPACER DISPERSING DEVICE FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL PANEL

PURPOSE:To permit uniform spraying of spacers on all substrates on a tray by forming the upper part of a vessel for dispersing the spacers as a cylindrical vessel and the lower part as a square cylindrical vessel. CONSTITUTION:The upper part of the spacer dispersing vessel 1 for a liquid crystal panel is formed as the cylindrical vessel 1a and the lower part as the square cylindrical vessel 1b. A nozzle 3 is provided to the center at the ceiling of such vessel 1 and plural sheets of the substrates 2 are imposed on the tray 6 on a transfer conveyor 5 in the lower part. The tray 6 is also formed to the shape which is a disk shape in the upper part and is a square plate shape in the lower part. Generation of turbulent flow in the vessel is obviated and the generation of a difference in dispersion density between the respective substrates 2 and the uneven dispersion in a sheet of the substrate are obviated, unlike the conventional square vessel, if the spacers are sprayed from the nozzle 3 of such dispersing vessel 1. The uniform spraying of the spacers is thus assured.
