PURPOSE:To make a pressing and assembling process effective by connecting a male contact part with a contact having a terminal part bent almost perpendicularly from the male contact part like a hoop. CONSTITUTION:A contact inserting hole 2a is set larger by a predetermined size than the outer configuration of a contact 1, and they are assembled by inserting a hoop of a contact wholly with make contact parts 1a on the forward side into the insertion holes of an insulation body 2, and protrusions 1b are fitted into and fixed at the contact insertion hole, so by moving a carrier 5, notches 4 are broken to separate the contact from connection parts 3 wholly. If the pitch of the insertion hole in the insulation body is 2.54mm, with the pitch of the contacts provided in parallel in the carrier being of the same size, then a line can be assembled by one press-fitting-in operation. |
