PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare processed eggs with shell whose cholesterol content is reduced and which has high value added, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The processed eggs are produced through a process in which eggs and natural maturing materials are placed into a container and a process in which the container having these raw materials in it is kept at ambient temperature for a certain period of time to ferment the eggs. The natural maturing material can be a single material or a mixture of materials selected from the group consisting of herbs, turmeric, pine leaves, a papaya enzyme and other medicinal plants. Further, eggs produced through these processes may be subjected to a process in which vibration is applied on the eggs to thoroughly mix the albumen and yolk in each egg. Further, processed eggs are optionally subjected to a smoking process. |
