PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a cooling feeling by quickly switching the minimum displacement to the maximum displacement by the on and off operation of a switch of an air conditioner. SOLUTION: A spool 24 is housed in a housing hole 23 provided on a cylinder block 11. The spool 24 is interlocked with the tilt motion of a swash plate 20 and slide-moved between the closing position in which the communication of a suction passage 27 communicated with an external coolant circuit 47 with a suction chamber 35 is shut off and the opening position in which the communication is released. A pressure discharging port 43 for forming a first pressure discharging passage for communicating a crank chamber 15 with the suction passage 27 is formed in the spool 24. A solenoid valve 45 is provided in a pressure supplying passage 44 for connecting the delivery chamber 36 to the crank chamber 15. The crank chamber 15 and the suction passage 27 are communicated with each other by the pressure discharging passage 47, the passage 47 is in the minimum displacement state, and a differential pressure regulating valve 48 to be released when the differential pressure between the crank chamber pressure and the suction pressure exceeds the set valve is arranged.
