PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the voltage to be applied to a lead during an ignition period by connecting a lead connected to a first gas discharge electrode, coming out of an anti-base side end and further connected to a first terminal, to a second gas discharge electrode through a noise eliminating inductor and a two-way threshould value switch in a base, and is connected to a second terminal connected to a lead coming out from a base side end. SOLUTION: A second gas discharge electrode E2 at a base 10 side of a discharge tube 11 including a pulse ignition device Z is connected to a second terminal j2 through a lead wire 15, a noise eliminating inductor L2 and a secondary winding N2 of an ignition transformer TR. The second terminal j2 is connected to a first terminal j1 through a noise eliminating inductor L1 connecting an anti-base side first gas discharge electrode E1 and a first terminal j1 with a lead wire 13, and a two-way threshould value switch D connected thereto in series. The accumulation energy is reduced by the continuity when the sum of an ignition voltage between the terminals j1 and j2 to be added to the two-way threshould switch D and the induction voltage of the noise eliminating inductor L1 is below the brake down voltage. |
