<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform an operator of the extent of deterioration being advanced in a laser diode of a light projector in a component height measuring instrument using the light projector and a light receiver for a component mounting machine. SOLUTION: This instrument comprises the light projector 1 equipped with a laser diode for irradiating a component with laser beam, the light receiver 2 for receiving an image of the component, and a control part 3 for controlling the light projector 1 and the light receiver 2. The control part 3 is equipped with an anomaly detection set value comparison part 16 for detecting an anomaly in the laser diode, a light-projecting element state detection part 15 for detecting the degree of deterioration in the laser diode, a replacement warning setting comparison part 4 for detecting that the laser diode has come to a prescribed state of deterioration, and an output part 14 for outputting a signal corresponding to a detected anomaly or to detected deterioration.</p> |
