DRIVING TECHNIQUE FOR STARTING LIQUID CRYSTAL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel which causes transitions of a liquid crystal having bend alignment within a short time, and has a high-speed response and a wide viewing angle. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal is made to cause transition into bend alignment within a short time by arranging a period for continuously applying a potential difference higher than that at the time of displaying a normal video across a pixel electrode and a counter electrode of the liquid crystal. Moreover, the liquid crystal device is deviced with a good idea for obtaining contents of the period and a high potential difference. Further, a pixel structure is deviced with good ideas.
