#CMT# #/CMT# The equipment and method are for parking a bicycle and involve a frame fixed to the ground with attached fixture devices for retention of a bicycle near to the rear wheel in a locked parked state. Control devies are effectively connected to the retention devices for control from the parked state to one where the rear wheel of the bicycle is freed. #CMT# : #/CMT# The parking equipment (2) has a frame formed by an upright (26) to which a U-shaped retention device (6) is fixed, comprising a fixed part (8) and a hingeable part (10) with a lip (12). The handlebars (20) of the bicycle (14) are at the outer edge of the circular parking installation. The bicycle (14) is placed in a guide channel (22) formed as a U-profile and at one outer end terminates at the upright of the parking facility. The U-profile is formed by a groove-shaped recess in the ground (30).
