#CMT# #/CMT# Sailing ship (2) hull construction (4) involves a method for maintenance of hull horizontally and has second hull part movable in relation to first hull part (12). The second hull part (12) is connected with the mast construction (10). The two hull parts are connected by a movable union (23), provided with an adjustmetn component. The first hull part remains principally is a constant orientation. #CMT# : #/CMT# The union comprises at least one spring component and at least one damper constituent. The hull is provided with at least one housing in which its movable part can move. The movable hull part is provided with a band-shaped component along the periphery of the hull. The keel (6) of the ship is connected with a cover or band (42) which is rotatably fixed in a housing (40) fitted on the inside of the hull.
