PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound signal processing device capable of sufficiently normalizing every frequency component of the waveform. SOLUTION: The waveform data (a) which is the recorded signal of the natural sound of a musical instrument is converted into the digital signal by an A/D conversion part 21, and stored in a memory 22 as the original waveform. A frequency band component extraction part 23 extracts each frequency band component of the original waveform, and a normalizing part 24 normalizes each frequency band component. An addition synthesis part 25 adds and synthesizes each normalized frequency band component using a buffer memory 26. As a result, the sufficiently normalized waveform data can be obtained for every frequency component of the waveform, and the waveform data is stored in a PCM waveform memory as the basic waveform data. The above- mentioned processing can also be achieved using other devices than that shown above, e.g. using a time-change filter. |
