<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission link, an optical transmitter, and an optical signal transmission method for increasing the output of an optical signal to be transmitted by a repeater system inexpensively. <P>SOLUTION: The optical transmitter 1 drives a laser diode LD1 which outputs an optical signal whose wavelength is λ1 and a laser diode LD2 which outputs an optical signal whose wavelength is λ2 with the same signal, and optical signals transmitted by the laser diodes LD1 and LD2 are input to a wavelength multiplex coupler 14, and the wavelength multiplex coupler 14 transmits an optical signal obtained by multiplexing and adding the optical signals through an optical fiber cable 2 to a light receiver 3, and the light receiver 3 restores the added optical signals into electric signals by an optical detector 31 having sensitivity in the both wavelength λ1 and λ2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
