The bicycle hub includes a transversal shaft (18),designed to be fitted into a frame, and defining an axis of revolution (3), a hub casing (10) which freely rotates around the shaft (18), and having a median part (11) and two lateral ends (12,13), which have parts designed for connection to wheel spindles. The hub has on one side a lateral ferrule (15) on which is mounted a free wheel mechanism designed to receive a drive sprocket. The median part is designed as a deformable torsion test body around the axis of revolution (3) and pairs of sensors (26,34,28,36) are fitted into the hub, each pair is associated with an end of the hub near the ends (12,13). The sensors are designed to measure sequentially the angular shift of the two ends of the hub body (11) with respect to the transversal axis of revolution(3).
