PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing delay from occurring when reading a charge signal out of a pixel during an image segmentation mode.SOLUTION: A radiation imaging apparatus comprises: a radiation detection unit in which a plurality of pixels 201 each including a conversion element for converting an incident X ray into a charge signal are provided in a matrix shape; a vertical scan circuit 202 which performs scan for successively outputting a drive signal for driving a pixel 201 connected to a row signal line 204 that connects the pixel 201 in a row direction, to the row signal line 204; and a scan control unit that causes the vertical scan circuit 202 to perform scan for successively outputting the drive signals to the row signal lines 204 corresponding to positions up to an image segmentation starting position under the image segmentation mode during a period from start of reset drive of the pixel 201 to start of sampling drive of the pixel 201 under the image segmentation mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
