A leukocyte measurement device 1 is provided with a spread inspection window 12 at a position separated from an opening part 11 along a spreading direction of a blood-derived sample S in a carrier 5, for making the carrier 5 visible from outside. When the blood-derived sample S is dropped from the opening part 11, leukocytes contained in the blood-derived sample S are captured by the carrier 5 in the vicinity of a dropping position 5a, while erythrocytes and/or hemoglobin and the like spread through the carrier 5 from the dropping position 5a into a predetermined direction. Therefore, in the leukocyte measurement device 1, seeing through the spread inspection window 12 the color of the erythrocytes and/or hemoglobin spread from the dropping position 5a can determine whether it has already been used or not, whereby a simple structure can prevent measurers from erroneously reusing it. |
