The present invention, in a plume abatement eliminator capable of collecting water particles from steam generated by cooling water penetrated through a heat exchange unit of a cooling tower, relates to a the plume abatement eliminator including: multiple dust collecting electrodes including a bent unit which is anodic, collects charged particles, and bent at least once and arranged at preset intervals and multiple discharge electrodes arranged at preset intervals (d) from the collecting electrodes between the collecting electrodes. The water particles contained in the steam is charged into negative charges by a corona discharge of the discharge electrodes when the steam generated by the cooling water penetrated through the heat exchange unit of the cooling tower passes through between the collecting and discharge electrodes, thereby being pulled and stuck to the collecting electrodes. According to the present invention, a corona discharge functioning part for collecting the water particles contained in the steam and an eliminator part for a scattering prevention function are not separately formed, thus a single device has the two functions. Accordingly, the plume abatement eliminator capable of preventing scattering when the cooling tower is ordinarily operated and efficiently collecting water particles contained in seam in case of rain or high humidity by receiving a power supply can be provided. |
