Lamp holder in enclosed light fitting - has socket at one housing wall and resilient heat insulating sleeve at another with lug coaxial with sleeve

The holder is for a bulb in the closed housing of a light unit with a fitting on one wall of the housing to hold the lamp socket. A heat insulated and covered sleeve on the opposite wall holds a cylindrical projection at the other end of the lamp. The holder also has on the opposite wall of the housing (25, 48) a heat insulated projection (53) located on the same axis as the sleeve (52). The projection fits tight into a recess (28) fitted to the other end of the bulb (L') which may be selectively inserted into the lamp instead of the bulb (L) fitted with the cylindrical projection (27).
